Aubrey Wallace is the author of Eco-Heroes: Twelve Tales of Environmental Victory, and Green Means: living gently on the planet. She has also written for Redbook, Cosmopolitan, Woman’s Day, Sierra, Los Angeles Times, and San Francisco Examiner.
She has maintained a life-long commitment, interest, and love for the natural environment. A former mountain guide in Yosemite National Park, she has also been an assistant naturalist on whale-watching trips in Baja California, a researcher on spotted dolphins in the Bahamas, and has traveled around the world to study and enjoy wildlife, natural habitats and the people who live with them.
She has worked with the Sierra Club, Friends of the Earth, Trust for Public Land, and numerous other environmental organizations. She resides in Southern California.
